Samsung SGH-i200 cellphone runs Window Mobile 6 (possibly a new version of it) and features tri-band GSM/EDGE (900/1800/1900MHz) as well as UMTS/HSDPA on the 2100MHz band.

Sony Ericsson announced three new models of mobile phone: two Walkmans and one K series. There is always a feeling of anticipation and “I-just-can’t-wait” when new models are released, no matter the manufacturer. I don’t know about you guys, but to me it seems that Sony Ericsson is lacking some design inspiration lately; all its models are somehow look alike.

The Sony Ericsson K660 model is web oriented one: landscape orientation of the screen when browsing, HSDPA.

The Sony Ericsson W380 is a clamshell mobile phone that has the Walkman capabilities but that’s about it.

The Sony Ericsson W890 has a 3.2 Megapixel camera and HSDPA connectivity.

What about the design, man?

Lenovo ThinkStation S10 and D10

Looks like Lenovo is well on its way. After declaring this week that it will get out of th IBM brand umbrella, here they come with two ThinkStations that look and spec to blow your mind.

The ThinkStation S10 has a choice of Intel Core2 and Core 2 Extreme processors and NVIDIA graphics; plus multiple connection possibilities

The ThinkStation D10 is “meaner”; it has an Intel Quad Core Xeon processor in addition to the other two options above.

The ThinkStations will be sold at $1,199 - the S10 and $1,739 - the D10.

Tongfang PMC V-800 PMP

Someone had to do it right; from all that mambo jumbo produced in China, here we have something that looks like a pretty good player. It really stands out. Tongfang PMC V-800 PMP has a nice, sleek look and pretty interface. That’s for the looks. For what it can do: .flv and.swf (so, Flash and YouTube), avi, mp4 and hdtv (I wonder).

All in all it looks like a good player and it would be nice to play with it for a little while. The specs look good.

Zune - the social-not social-again social device now with video

Last time I checked, Zune was getting away from this “social” frenzy. Everyone is social these days. You’re not social, you’re soooo…outdated (to put it nicely). So Zune was geting away from it. But no, keep your shirt on, it got away only yo come back more powerful. This time you can share video, too…with other zunester, that is.

I don’t know, but this whole thing (is, is not, is again) kinda makes me hold on to the iPod. I feel safer.

Toshiba released on Monday three new versions of players for those of you eager to stick the buds into your ears. The U104 and the U205 come in three color schemes: gold, light blue, and pink and have 1GB flash storage capacity. The display is an 1.1 inch OLED. The player supports both audio (MP3/WAV/WMA) and photo formats. What the U205 has more is 2GB of storage, FM tuner and costs $129.The Toshiba Gigabeat U206 relies on the same hardware but a slightly different design: the cross shaped controls. The price tag? $129.

The player will ship in Japan starting November the 9th. The rest of the world? Well…we’ll wait.
